I designed prototyped and built multiple components including:
- Disk loading, storage, and firing mechanism
- Contoured wheels to maximize static friction for climbing the pyramid
- Pneumatic bi-stable shooting angle
I calculated disk compression to eliminate skidding.
CAD to Model to Manufacture:
- Belt tensioner
- Ball pickup and lift assembly
- Optical sensor and tachometer mount to regulate power for the shooter motor
I calculated optimal mounting locations to lower center of mass.
I designed, tested, and constructed:
- Winch to retract elastic shooter
- Housing to retain ball while elastic potential was imparted
- Pneumatic release mechanism
- Ball pickup mechanism
I graphed and manipulated angular velocities to rangle stray balls.
